Overview
Developers and indie makers ship work every day, but turning that work into marketing is a separate job that usually doesn't get done. The commits are there; the posts about them aren't.
MarketMee is an AI marketing SaaS that connects to a user's GitHub, reads their commits, and turns them into social posts, images, and short videos. In autopilot mode it publishes on its own.
It's my own product. I started it in March 2026 and it's in development, with 162 commits through September 2026.
What it does
From commits to content
- Connects to GitHub and reads the user's commits
- Writes social posts with Anthropic Claude
Images and video
- Generates images alongside the posts
- Renders short videos, with voice from ElevenLabs
Autopilot
- Publishes automatically when turned on
- Posts go out through the PostForMe API
Plans and billing
- Stripe billing with paid tiers
- Free-tier limits, with a watermark on free-tier output
How it's built
One monorepo, three apps
A pnpm monorepo holds a Next.js 14 and React 18 web app, an Express API server, and a Python package that renders the videos. Prisma handles the database, and everything is deployed on Railway.
Long work runs on queues
Long jobs run as BullMQ jobs on Redis instead of inside a web request, and the web app shows their live progress through server-sent events.
Checking the AI's images
Generated images go through an AI review loop. Each one is checked, and images that don't pass are regenerated before they reach the user.
Rules for AI coding agents
The repo's CLAUDE.md sets BDD and TDD rules that AI coding agents follow when they work on the codebase. Playwright and Sentry are part of the toolchain.
