Selected work
My own products and client apps, from an iPad field inspection app built in 2012 to SaaS platforms with paying customers.
The Defined CRM
My SaaS for home service businesses
Scheduling, estimates with e-signatures, invoicing, Stripe payments, marketing automation, an AI voice receptionist, and a mobile app for field crews. Sold on monthly plans and at $1.7K MRR in early 2026.
PMU Forms
Subscription iOS app and client web portal
Digital consent and intake forms for permanent makeup artists. Built in six weeks, grown to $1.2K in monthly subscription revenue, with 1,800+ artists signed up and 53,000+ forms filled out.
MarketMee In development
My AI marketing SaaS
Connect your GitHub and MarketMee turns your commits into social posts, images, and short videos, then publishes them on autopilot. Stripe tiers with a free plan that watermarks its output.
4Word
Client app for GDI MFG, iPhone and iPad
A daily word puzzle I've been lead developer on since 2024. Free with ads, plus one-time purchases to remove ads and unlock reveals.
Life Planner
Web app
Goals, projects, tasks, and habits in one place, with an AI coach that knows your goals and can plan your day.
Voyager
Trip planning web app
A shared day-by-day trip plan with maps, costs, and packing lists, plus an AI assistant that suggests real places using your actual itinerary.
Read Chinese In development
iOS app
Learn Chinese by reading real books: pinyin on demand, tap any word for its meaning, and an AI tutor to practice with.
Crane inspection apps
Client apps for Silver State Wire Rope and Rigging
An iPad app their technicians used to inspect cranes and hoists in the field, part by part, with signatures and sync. Built from 2012 to 2014, followed years later by a new SwiftUI inspection app of my own.
Graffiti
Social travel app for iOS
Save travel spots with photos on a map, collect them into walls, and follow other travelers. Rated 4.8 on the App Store, with bookable tours paid through Apple Pay.
Easy Remember
Language learning app for iPhone and iPad
Tap a word while reading a book to translate it, and it comes back as a flashcard notification throughout your day. Tiered in-app purchases.
Symple Tasks
iPhone app
A deliberately simple daily to-do list: today's tasks, overdue items in red, and hourly reminders of what's left. First built in 2014 and still updated for new iOS versions.
Built to make money
Most apps don't fail because of the code. They fail because nobody pays for them. I run subscription products of my own, so how your app earns is part of the first conversation, not something bolted on after launch.
Subscriptions and in-app purchases
App Store subscriptions, one-time unlocks, tiered purchases, and ad revenue, wired up so purchases survive reinstalls and restore cleanly.
PMU Forms grew to $1.2K MRR on App Store subscriptions. 4Word earns from AdMob plus one-time purchases, and I reworked its pricing in 2026 into three simple unlocks.
SaaS billing that scales with the customer
Plan tiers with features gated by plan, usage-based charges, free tiers that upsell, and Stripe Connect when your customers need to get paid too.
The Defined CRM runs on four paid plans with usage billing and Stripe Connect payouts, and reached $1.7K MRR in early 2026. MarketMee's free tier watermarks its output.
Features that bring customers back
Referrals, sharing loops, reminders, and re-engagement messaging are cheaper than buying new users, so I build them in early.
The CRM sends postcards and texts to a finished job's neighbors and drafts Google Ads campaigns. 4Word has share-your-win and invite-a-friend built in.
Numbers you can act on
Analytics and reporting from day one, so you know which features people use and pay for before deciding what to build next.
The CRM streams its data into a SQL warehouse and answers reporting questions in plain English. PMU Forms, Graffiti, and Easy Remember shipped with Firebase Analytics, and the CRM uses PostHog.
How I use AI to ship faster
AI writes a lot of my code now, and it's why one senior engineer can move like a small team. Fifteen years of experience is what keeps that code correct. I direct the AI the way I'd lead a team: clear specs, tests first, and nothing merged without review.
Tests before code
For each feature, the AI first writes behavior tests covering the happy path, errors, edge cases, and security. I review and approve them, and only then does implementation start.
Rules the AI can't skip
Every project carries written instructions for the AI: architecture rules, conventions, and the mistakes specific to that codebase. Git hooks reject commits that fail the tests or the commit format.
Review that checks its work
I built a review agent that checks each change against the known traps in my codebase, like data leaking between customers or a missed permission check, and reports only problems it has confirmed in the code.
Automation with a human in the loop
In The Defined CRM, a user's bug report goes to an agent that writes the fix on its own branch, runs the tests, and opens a pull request. A person reviews it before anything ships.
On my own products, working this way has cut development time by about 60%. You get that speed without trading away quality.
Packages and prices
Clear starting prices, so you know where you stand before we talk. Every project gets a fixed quote after a free call, and you work directly with me the whole way.
Prototype
$2,500
About one week
A working build of your app's core flow that you can click through on a real phone or browser. The fastest way to find out what matters before spending more.
- A scoping call to pin down the one flow that proves the idea
- A working build of that flow, on iOS or the web
- A written plan and fixed quote for the MVP
MVP
From $15,000
About eight weeks
A launched product people can sign up for and pay for, built the way I build my own: tests first, and monetization designed in from the start.
- iPhone app, web app, or both
- Sign-in, subscriptions or payments, and analytics
- Released to the App Store or deployed to production
- Launch support from the developer who built it
Monetization audit
$750
For apps already live
Your app works but isn't earning what it should. I review how it makes money and hand you a prioritized list of what to change.
- Review of pricing, paywall, onboarding, and purchase flows
- Review of your analytics, or what to start tracking
- A written report and a call to walk through it
What I build
Three kinds of work, each backed by something I've shipped.

- Shipped
- Voice receptionist and MCP server in The Defined CRM, MarketMee's content pipeline, Voyager's travel assistant, Life Planner's coach

Sole iOS developer on a location-based social app that showed people events happening near them. Built location-aware push notifications that fired when someone arrived at an event they'd saved, plus Facebook and Twitter sharing. I also designed the UI and icons, and worked with the web and Android developers to keep the platforms consistent.
-
2012 to 2014
Client developer, Silver State Wire Rope and Rigging
Built the iPad crane inspection app their technicians used in the field, in Objective-C with Core Data and Parse.
About
I'm Ade, a senior full-stack engineer, and Dephyned is my studio. I've built apps for clients and for myself since 2012, and I run my own SaaS, so I know what it takes to get from idea to paying customers, not just to a finished build.
Most of the people I work with are founders with an idea and a deadline. I'll help you figure out what to build first, get it in front of real customers quickly, and make sure there's a way for it to earn from day one.
Tell me what you're building
A few lines about the idea and where you are with it is plenty. I usually reply within a day.
